I'm Talking at This Friday's Rally for Religious Freedom
In cities all across the country at Noon this Friday people will be gathering at their respective governmental buildings to protest the stripping away of religious liberty that the Obama administration is just beginning to do.
At the rally being held at Indianapolis' State House, I have actually been asked to be one of the three speakers. Bishop Coyne had a prior commitment, and someone had seen my "I Have a Say" video and asked if I would be able to speak. I'm honored to join with people of good will from all across the country to stand up and speak out. If you are free on Friday at noon, join us at the Statehouse, and if you don't live in Indy, find your local rally on line!

Awesome! Wish we could get live feed of your speech here in Winston! I've lined up 6 great speakers and we will be with you in spirit. I'll be sure to email you photos from our rally!
ReplyDeleteThank you Father for speaking up and speaking for many of us that will be at home or work praying for you, our country and our church on Friday. Very important time for us. Keep up the great work. We are blessed at St. Malachy's to have you ministering to us.
ReplyDeleteMay I suggest the following prayer in support of Fr. John Hollowell and the other Priests (and Bishops) who are standing up for the Faith:
ReplyDeletePRAYER TO SAINT JOSEPH FOR A PARTICULAR PRIEST
Saint Joseph,
I present to you this day
Father N., priest of Jesus Christ,
and beg you to be to him
advocate and defender,
counselor and friend.
Open your heart to him
as you opened your home to the Virgin Mother
in her hour of need.
Protect his holy priesthood
as you protected the life of the Infant Christ
threatened by cruel Herod.
In darkness bring him light;
in weakness, strength,
and in fear the peace that passes understanding.
For the sake of the tender love that bound you
to the Virgin Mary and the Infant Christ,
be for him, Saint Joseph, a constant intercessor
and a shield against every danger of body, mind, and soul
so that, in spite of his weaknesses and sins,
his priesthood may bring glory to Christ
and serve to increase the beauty of holiness
in his bride the Church.
Amen.
You will be in my thoughts and prayers today.
ReplyDeleteWish I could be there! Praying like mad for you and all the others though.
ReplyDeleteYou were wonderful, thankyou, Father!
