AWESOME Subsidiarity Video

I've blogged before (here and here) about subsidiarity and how it is the best kept secret Catholic Social Teaching and about how if we applied it in our country, we'd be a heck of a lot better off.  Here's a great video from Catholic Vote on "subsidiarity"

  1. Father,

I have been trying to read up on this view, that GK Chesterton called Distributism. I think this is probably the way to go and the most fair across the board to all members of society. I also think this view would also be important to really see not just in an economic sense, but in a Catholic theological sense too. I think a greater sense of collegiality among the Bishops would foster a greater sense of ownership of the Catholic religion to the believers those Bishops represent. In a real sense this would potentially exude a real grass roots feeling to our Catholic faith, that would be visible and palatable from the lay believer all the way up to the College of Bishops and to the Bishop of Rome.
