Flying into Chicago at -2 degrees. It was 81 when I landed in Miami three hours later |
The meal I helped pass out on my first day - rice was a 2X a week luxury |
My bedroom with the mosquito net |
One of two things I now look for in my travels - a chapel. This was next door to my room |
A Marian statue in the chapel |
"Bingo" is the man in the green who runs the mission. Fr. Meaux gave him that name because when something needs done, he would ask him to do it, and "bingo", it was done. Great guy |
The best thing I could do for the mission |
Fr. Glenn Meaux and myself. Fr. Glenn started the mission over 20 years ago. It has grown miraculously! |
The other thing I helped with - I showed some of the staff how to better utilize Microsoft Excel |
Good to be home in the capital. Now it is time to spread the word about the missions |
Wonderful pictures. Thank you.
