Haiti Trip Pictures

Flying into Chicago at -2 degrees.  It was 81 when I landed in Miami three hours later

The meal I helped pass out on my first day - rice was a 2X a week luxury

My bedroom with the mosquito net

One of two things I now look for in my travels - a chapel.  This was next door to my room

A Marian statue in the chapel

"Bingo" is the man in the green who runs the mission.  Fr. Meaux gave him that name because when something needs done, he would ask him to do it, and "bingo", it was done.  Great guy

I helped build these gables one day.  The guy in the white is the head carpenter for the mission.  He's probably 18 years old but Bob Villa has nothing on this kid!  We didn't speak the same language, but we both understood the language of hard work!

The best thing I could do for the mission

Fr. Glenn Meaux and myself.  Fr. Glenn started the mission over 20 years ago.  It has grown miraculously!

The other thing I helped with - I showed some of the staff how to better utilize Microsoft Excel

Good to be home in the capital.  Now it is time to spread the word about the missions
